4. Pricing

5. Reservation & Deposits
A deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle. Deposits:
- Are typically non-refundable unless agreed otherwise
- Remove the vehicle from sale for a set period
- Must be paid in good faith with intent to complete the purchase
If you change your mind, cancellations may incur a reasonable handling fee.
6. Vehicle Preparation & Standards
All vehicles are prepared to our advertised standards, including:
- Multi-point inspection
- Servicing where required
- Minimum MOT as stated
- Professional valet

7. Warranty
Unless stated otherwise, all retail vehicles include a standard parts & labour warranty.
- Terms vary depending on age, mileage, and vehicle type
- Extended warranties may be available
- Wear-and-tear items may not be covered
8. Test Drives
A full UK driving licence must be shown before a test drive. We may refuse a test drive for insurance or safety reasons.
9. Part-Exchange Vehicles
- You must provide accurate details about your vehicle
- Outstanding finance or undeclared issues may affect valuation
- We may revise or withdraw an offer based on new information
10. Payment Terms
We accept:
- Bank transfer
- Debit card
- Cash (within legal limits)
Vehicles are released only once full cleared payment is received.
11. Vehicle Collection & Ownership
Ownership transfers only when:
- Full payment is received
- All documents are signed
- The vehicle is handed over
Risk passes to the customer upon collection or delivery.
12. Finance Agreements
- Finance is provided by third-party lenders
- Avid Autos is not responsible for lender decisions
- Cooling-off rules depend on the lender, not Avid Autos
13. Returns & Cancellations
Your rights depend on how the purchase was made:
- On-premises purchases: covered by consumer rights laws
- Distance sales: may include a 14-day cooling-off period (conditions apply)
Deductions may apply for damage or excessive use during the cooling-off period.
14. Liability
Avid Autos is not liable for:
- Losses due to incorrect information provided by customers
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Damage caused by misuse of a vehicle
Nothing excludes our liability where prohibited by UK law.
